Facts: Julie agreed to have her friends, John and Jane, stay over at her apartment while they completed a 6 month internship with a local music company. They all agreed to split the rent equally, however only Julie was named as a tenant on the tenancy agreement.
John and Jane stopped paying rent while they were still living with Julie, now the landlord is demanding Julie to pay all the unpaid rent.
Can the landlord claim all the unpaid rent from Julie alone?
